Palm Sunday Mass and Rededication of Sts. Peter & Paul’s Historic Church Bell

Each year, the church communities of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Trinity Lutheran Church, begin the Eucharistic Celebration of Palm Sunday together. A service of prayer and praise is offered together at one of the churches. This year, the worship service will begin at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. At the conclusion of the worship service, the members of Sts. Peter & Paul will process down 8th Street to Geyer Avenue, then turn south on 7th Street and stop at the rectory yard to bless and rededicate the historic bronze church bell that is displayed there. The bell was stolen in late 2023 and recovered by St. Louis City Police Department detectives. We will bless the bell before continuing on to celebrate Palm Sunday Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Church.
